你身處的是賽馬會劇場。這裡是存放皮草大衣的倉庫。冬天時，洋人愛穿皮草大衣。當時很少家庭有雪櫃，更不用說抽濕機了，但是香港濕度高，要把皮草保管好並不容易。牛奶公司因而提供抽濕服務，洋人便將皮草存放於此。

 

如今控制室所在的位置曾經是一個「大水缸」，用來儲存抽濕後的水。而地下劇場的四條柱(現已拆卸)，位置正是這個水缸的位置。

You’re now in the Jockey Club Studio Theatre. This space served as a storeroom for customers’ fur coats. Foreigners loved wearing fur coats in winter, but the high humidity in Hong Kong in summer meant it was difficult for people to keep their fur coats in the best possible condition at home because very few homes had refrigerators, not to mention dehumidifiers, so the Dairy Farm provided a much-appreciated storage service in this dehumidified space.

 

Where the Control Room now stands, there used to be a huge water tank, storing the water extracted from the humid air. The four pillars in the Underground Theatre (now removed) mark the location of this water tank.
