1983年12月底藝穗會進駐。進駐前，這天台花園荒廢了多年，鋪在天台的「廣州磚」殘缺不全，生滿野草，有些榕樹的根，生到下面的房間裏面，失修樣子，不可想像。藝穗會進駐四年後方能籌集足夠的金錢作第一次裝修，到今天總共裝修了12次，把這百年冰庫活化起來。

The Fringe Club has been based in this building since late-December 1983. Before then, the rooftop had been empty and unused for many years. The Canto tiles were broken, the floor was covered in spiky plants, and the roots of the banyan trees grew downward, reaching the room below. So the Rooftop was in a state of serious disrepair.

         

It took four years for the Fringe Club to raise enough money to carry out the first stage of the renovation. So far, 12 renovation projects have been undertaken, and now the 100-year-old Depot has been revitalised.
