1983年藝穗會進駐舊牛奶公司倉庫南座時，發現屋頂破了，生長了很多生命力十分頑強的植物，例如榕樹及藤本植物，它們可以在很乾旱的環境生長，其根部由屋頂慢延從天花板伸延至屋內。雖然榕樹的根部已被清走，但野草還未完全杜絕。

Banyan trees and spikey wild plants were found growing on the broken roof when Fringe Club first moved into the Dairy Farm Depot. Later on, the banyan trees were uprooted. However, when we're not looking, they're so persistent that they creep back and grow in the most impossible places.
